Junior high school
In junior high school, LLFPM provides teaching based on the French curriculum and prepares students for the Diplôme National du Brevet (DNB).
The school’s language program offers students high-quality instruction in Arabic, both as a mother tongue and as a foreign language. This course meets the curriculum requirements of the Emirati authorities, and aims to develop the four communication skills defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It is also consistent with the French baccalaureate’s teaching of modern languages, which is assessed according to the same written and oral skills.
The teaching of English continues and deepens, while Spanish is introduced from fifth grade for students enrolled in Arabic as a foreign language.
Validation of the common core of knowledge, skills, and culture is determined by the third year class council and forwarded to the
DNB jury.
The school has adopted a sustainable development policy:
Provide an excellent education in literature, languages, humanities, and scientific, technological, and experimental disciplines.
Develop students’ abilities in abstraction, analysis, synthesis, and critical thinking.
Raise awareness of living together in a climate of harmony, respect, and solidarity.
Equip students with the tools to build a personal project and a relevant university pathway, enabling them to succeed after the Baccalaureate.
Encourage collaborative work, develop autonomy in the workplace, stimulate creativity, instill a taste for effort and recognize a job well done, thus enabling people to live together and succeed together.
